NxtQuantum on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, officially introduced a new smartphone brand in the Indian market called Ai+ Smartphone. The brand is being spearheaded by Madhav Sheth, who previously served as the CEO of Realme India and was also briefly associated with HonorTech. After his stints with these companies, Sheth has now gone on to establish a new Indian, homegrown technology venture named NxtQuantum Shift Technologies. In this new company, he has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer, with the aim of building and expanding the Ai+ Smartphone brand in India.

Ai+ Smartphone has entered the Indian mobile market with the launch of two devices — the Pulse, a 4G smartphone, and the Nova, a 5G-enabled phone. Alongside these devices, the company has introduced a new operating system called NxtQuantum OS, which it describes as India’s first sovereign mobile operating system. The OS is designed to give users greater transparency, control, and ownership over their personal data.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and Founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, said the brand’s core mission is to return data control to Indian consumers. He noted that for many years, Indian users have depended on smartphones and digital platforms that were not specifically designed with India’s needs in mind. According to him, Ai+ Smartphone aims to change this by offering devices that combine performance, attractive design, and strong data security, ensuring users’ information remains protected.
The company stated that all personal user data — including app preferences and backups — will be stored securely within India. This data will be hosted in Google Cloud regions that are empanelled by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. Additionally, Ai+ Smartphones are being manufactured domestically at United Telelinks (Bangalore) Limited’s production facility in Noida, reinforcing the company’s “Made in India” approach.
The smartphones are built to support regional Indian languages and locally relevant content. Users can also personalise their devices using NxtQuantum’s Theme Designer Tool. Both models will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart.
The Ai+ Smartphone Pulse features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Unisoc T615 processor and supports expandable storage of up to 1TB. The device includes a 50-megapixel rear camera and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. It will be offered in Blue, Black, Green, Purple, and Pink colour options, with prices starting at ₹4,499. Sales for the Pulse begin on July 12.
The Ai+ Smartphone Nova 5G comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ display that offers a smoother 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Unisoc T8200 chipset and also supports expandable storage up to 1TB. Like the Pulse, it features a 50-megapixel camera and a 5,000mAh battery. The Nova 5G will be available in Blue, Black, Green, Purple, and Pink, with a starting price of ₹7,499. The smartphone will go on sale from July 13.
