The First Captaincy Task
The race for the first captain of Bigg Boss 19 kicked off with the Merry-Go-Round task. In this challenge, contestants had to rush to a merry-go-round and sing a nursery rhyme whenever the sound of children played. After that, they had to enter specific “houses,” which led to their elimination from the captaincy race.
Adding an unexpected twist, Farhana, who had been in the secret room since Day 1, used her special power to eliminate Baseer from the task. She explained that he often imposed his opinions and could be a strong competitor. However, even though he was out of the captaincy race, Baseer was made the sanchalak — the supervisor of the task — responsible for ensuring that all rules were followed.
After rounds of planning and strategy, Abhishek Bajaj, Kunickaa Sadanand, and Ashnoor Kaur emerged as the top contenders for the first captaincy of Bigg Boss 19.
Tanya Mittal Gets Emotional
Tanya had an emotional moment inside the Bigg Boss house as she broke down while talking about missing her mother deeply. The pressure of being away from home, combined with the responsibilities of managing the household chores, seemed to have taken a toll on her. She tearfully expressed that despite putting in a lot of effort to keep things running smoothly in the house — from cleaning to cooking and maintaining harmony — her contributions often go unnoticed.
Tanya shared that she feels unappreciated and misunderstood by her fellow housemates. According to her, while she genuinely tries to do her best for everyone, others fail to acknowledge her hard work or intentions. Instead, she feels judged or taken for granted, which adds to her emotional exhaustion.
Her heartfelt confession revealed the emotional strain contestants face inside the Bigg Boss house — not just due to the competition, but also from the lack of emotional support and appreciation from those around them. Tanya’s breakdown became one of the most touching moments of the day, reminding everyone of the human side behind the reality show’s drama.

Gaurav’s choice for captain created tension and conflict in the house
When Tanya questioned Gaurav about his stance, asking why—if he truly saw Kunickaa as a mother figure—he wouldn’t want her to become the captain, Gaurav didn’t hesitate to answer honestly. He admitted that he would prefer Ashnoor for the role. According to him, Ashnoor maintained a balanced and cordial relationship with both sides of the house, while Kunickaa, in his view, was “too soft” to handle the responsibilities of leadership.
This candid confession, however, didn’t sit well with Kunickaa. The conversation sparked tension between the two, as Kunickaa felt deeply hurt and betrayed. She believed that Gaurav should have approached her directly to express his opinion rather than revealing it publicly. To her, his choice seemed like a personal backstab, creating an emotional rift in what once appeared to be a close bond.
Zeishan shares his feelings with Abhishek
Abhishek told Zeishan that he doesn’t get influenced by anyone. Zeishan replied that some housemates were creating a false image of him, calling him aggressive. Later, Abhishek shared the details of this conversation with Awez and Nagma.
Abhishek And Nehal Fight Over Food
A heated argument erupted between Nehal and Abhishek over food portions, during which Abhishek mocked her, calling her “Kaleshi” and a “Fame Digger.” Later, while talking to Pranit, Nehal expressed to Baseer that whenever Gaurav is corrected by Pranit, he stays calm, but when she does the same, he always ends up picking fights with her.

Captaincy challenge using colorful painted tiles
Bigg Boss announced a captaincy task where housemates had to paint tiles to show support for their chosen contender and then hand them over. The contenders would place these tiles on the stage. To make things interesting, Bigg Boss added a twist — contenders could flip the tiles of others to hide their colour and reduce their chances. They were also given the choice to pick representatives. Kunickaa chose Baseer to play for her, while Abhishek and Ashnoor decided to compete on their own. Tanya was selected as the sanchalak for the task.
