Shehnaaz Gill’s brother, Shehbaz Badesha, was meant to be a contestant on Bigg Boss 19. However, he lost to Mirdul Tiwari in the voting and had to leave the show in the first episode. Before the grand premiere of BB 19, Shehbaz shared exclusively with Zoom/Telly Talk the advice his sister Shehnaaz Gill gave him.
How thrilled are you to take part in Bigg Boss 19?
I’m really happy about Bigg Boss — my dream has finally come true after 7 years.
How do you plan to manage or stay safe in the house?
I haven’t made any strategy. Wahan jaunga aur aag laga dunga.
Your sister, Shehnaaz Gill, became famous after participating in Bigg Boss. What advice did she give you for the Salman Khan show?
I’ll definitely meet her fans’ expectations. I’ll go on the show and come out as a winner. She told me to be myself. I want to thank all of Shehnaaz Gill’s fans for their support and ask them to keep supporting me.
What personal strengths and weaknesses do you think will be tested in Bigg Boss 19?
I am very strong and have no weaknesses.
Many people on social media are claiming that you entered Bigg Boss 19 because of your sister. How would you respond to that?
I could have entered Bigg Boss 14 only because of Shehnaaz Gill. So, it’s not like that. I had wished for it myself. I’d actually feel proud if I got in because of her — after all, she’s my sister, my family. I don’t rely on people; I rely on my loved ones.
If you find love in Bigg Boss 19, would you be the one to make the first move and confess your feelings?
Yes! I am open to love and friendship.
Sidharth Shukla was one of the most beloved Bigg Boss winners. How much do you miss him, and what advice do you think he would have given you?
Bigg Boss will always be part of history. I am going to make history. I miss him very much.
