Balloon Incident Leads to a Dispute
The tragic incident started with a very minor and accidental incident on the night of March 4 (Wednesday). At around 10:30 p.m., a nine-year-old girl was playing on the roof of her house and accidentally dropped a balloon, which fell on the woman who passed by below the roof. This led to an argument between the two parties.
As the argument intensified, some individuals from the neighborhood were allegedly involved in the fight between the two parties. It has been alleged that around 20 to 25 individuals were involved in the fight, making the argument a violent mob attack on the other party. During the violent attack, a man named Tarun was seriously injured and eventually died due to the injuries.
Following the incident, the police registered a case against the perpetrators and pressed serious charges against the accused, including murder and the SC/ST Act, based on the circumstances that had led to the attack. Tarun’s brother, Arun Kumar, has urged that strict action should be taken against the perpetrators of the crime that had resulted in the death of his brother, as a huge number of people had been involved in the attack.
